Ron Rogers
Percussion Director
Ron Rogers is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, possessing a Bachelor of Science 
and a Master of Science degree in Engineering. He marched as a member of the Blue and Gold Marching Machine in the early 90’s. He is very direct, straight forward, and hands on as he prepares Cold Steel for  all aspects on the fields as well as off, Ron has been the percussion instructor for five years, he is also a part time instructor at North Carolina A&T State University. In addition, Ron is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
Darrell “The Voice” Lewis
Band and Drum Line Announcer
Darrell Lewis played tenor drum as a member of the Blue and Gold Marching as a member of  Cold 
Steel. Darrell is “The Voice” behind the enthusiastic halftime shows and Cold Steel drum show 
performance.
Harvey Thompson
Percussion Instructor

Harvey became a member of the Cold Steel Drumline in 2006. Since that time he has been integral in
preparing shows and writing music for the section. Harvey came to NC A&T SU band from the 
Brooklyn Steppers "Black Fire" Drum Line. 2008 marks his first year as a staff member for drumline 
and he served as section leader in 2007.



Courteney came to the Marching Machine in 2005 as a member of Golden Delight Auxiliary where she served as co-captain in 2007 and captain in 2008 and 2009. She is a native of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. She is a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc.
